Following the International Court of Justice (ICJ), delivering its Order providing provisional measures in favor of South Africa (South Africa v. Israel) the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in the Gaza Strip, in the Hague on Jan 26, 2024, Israel immediately took steps to do the complete and exact opposite the very next day.

On Jan 27, 2024 Israel not only continued its relentless genocidal bombardment on innocent civilians, it also waged war on UNRWA (The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees), the main organization sheltering Palestinians and delivering aid into Gaza, by organizing and convincing other nations through fraud, intimidation and political pressure to de-fund and destroy UNRWA based on Israel’s bogus “intelligence dossier”, which turned out to contain “no evidence to support its explosive new claim” that UNRWA workers took part in the attack on Israel on Oct 7th.

Even IF there had been a few employees (out of 13,000 in Gaza and 30,000 total employees) that took part on Oct 7th, UNRWA immediately fired all employees accused by Israel and opened an investigation. UNRWA gives Israel a list of all its employees, and Israel screens these employees, so wouldn’t that be a security breach on Israel’s part too? Israeli officials also said they have not submitted their evidence to UNRWA to help with UNRWA’s investigation. Why not?

Regardless, it’s important to note that under intense Israeli bombardment since Oct 7th, Israel has murdered over 158 UN workers in the besieged Gaza Strip. Furthermore, it was stated in the Israeli parliament that UNRWA needed to be destroyed to win in Gaza nearly 3 weeks prior, on Jan 4, 2024! The Zionist Jews have plans for UNRWA and I trust they won’t get what they want as the Palestinians are in grave danger as it is.

Clearly Palestinians do not need anybody’s financial aid, they are rich. However, Israel is stealing their resources and has already stolen 48 billion from their oil and gas reserves. These reserves are worth an estimated 450 billion dollars.

Gaza is rich! The Palestinians don’t need handouts, they need to be left alone in peace on their rich land with their families & friends! Has the US or Israel ever just traded normally with others, like human beings? God help Palestine!

Israel Has Waged a “Deliberate Propaganda Campaign” to Justify Brutal Gaza Assault

Democracy Now Feb 7, 2024 – The United States and more than a dozen other countries quickly moved to suspend funding to UNRWA, the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees, a vital lifeline for millions of people in Gaza, shortly after Israel accused a handful of the agency’s staff of taking part in the Hamas attack on October 7.

But the U.K. broadcaster Channel 4 obtained the intelligence dossier on UNRWA that Israel shared with allied countries, and found “no evidence to support its explosive new claim.” The Financial Times and Sky News also reviewed the materials and came to the same conclusion. Israel’s claims about UNRWA are just the latest example of what journalist Jeremy Scahill says is a “deliberate propaganda campaign” to justify its brutal assault on Gaza.

“This is one of the most epic frauds in modern history, reminiscent of the lies told to explain and justify the invasion and occupation of Iraq,” says Scahill, senior reporter and correspondent at The Intercept.

On February 8, 2024 Democracy Now stated that Israel’s assault on Gaza has displaced the majority of Palestinians in Gaza, more than half are sheltering in facilities run by UNRWA, the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees. Despite being the largest humanitarian agency in Gaza, UNRWA says it may run out of funds by the end of the month, after at least 18 states or institutions, including many of the agency’s biggest funders, announced they were suspending their donations in January.

The cuts came after the Israeli government accused several UNRWA employees of participating in the Hamas attack on October 7. Israel made the allegations in a document it provided to foreign governments which apparently contained no direct evidence of the claims. “As of now, the evidence simply does not exist” outside of this “dodgy Israeli dossier,” says Chris Gunness, former chief spokesperson for UNRWA. He slams donors who have pulled their funding as “doing Israel’s political bidding” in its “scheme to dismantle UNRWA” and further dispossess Palestinians in Gaza.

The Gaza Strip is a thin piece of land about 25 miles long by an average width of 5 miles wide off the Mediterranean Sea. It is the world’s largest ‘open-air prison’, with a population of 2.2 million people.

Gazans are surrounded – land, air and sea by Israeli Occupation Forces who continue to shoot, shell, bomb, starve and thirst them to death like fish in a barrel. They are trapped by Israel and stuck in a prison of what is left of their homeland. Israel controls who and what goes in and out of Gaza, including via Rafah’s border with Egypt. Israel controls Palestine’s water, fuel, electricity and Internet. As Israel’s Defence minister Yoav Gallant announced, “There Will Be No Food, No Water, No Electricity For People Of Gaza”.  Israel IS the occupying power and Palestinians are being illegally occupied on their own land, not only in Gaza, but in the Occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

The ongoing illegal land grabs, brutal occupation & apartheid didn’t start on Oct 7th!

A quick look at the stats from Oct 7th – Feb 14, 2024 according to OCHA. Shockingly, we can see it includes the killing of 340 Health Care Workers and 124 Journalists!


Jan 26th’s ICJ ruling ordered six provisional measures including for Israel to refrain from acts under the Genocide Convention to prevent and punish the direct and public incitement to genocide, and take immediate and effective measures to ensure the provision of humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza. In fact, the judge literally read out loud Articles I – III that Israel needs to follow.

Surely conspiring to de-fund UNRWA is tantamount to genocide and collective punishment in and of itself.

Every country/party to the Genocide Convention has an obligation to prevent genocide.

The Yemini Houthis, officially known as Ansar Allah, have been doing their part to prevent genocide by preventing ships from delivering supplies to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories within their control. And they’re not bad dancers either.

The Houthis have one condition in order to stop the blockade on Israeli ships in the Red Sea. That is CEASEFIRE AND LET AID INTO GAZA. That’s it, no war necessary, warranted or wanted.

Unfortunately, the US and its allies like the UK have so far refused to pull their support or use their leverage with Israel to end the genocidal attack on Gaza. They have chosen to expand the war by bombing the Houthis and Yemen, one of the poorest countries in the region.

Instead of preventing genocide, which is every country’s obligation under the Genocide Convention, the US and UK have been bombing the country that is trying to prevent genocide! In addition, Israel and the US have expanded the war further by bombing Syria and Iraq too!

To be clear, the US has no business illegally occupying Iraq or Syria and have made themselves sitting ducks. America has recently lost soldiers due to this illegal occupation. Iraq has asked and ordered the US military to leave its country numerous times and the US military and its hopeful regime change proxies are not welcome in Syria either.

It appears the US military is guarding and stealing these two sovereign countries’ oil for the Kurds, Israel’s boots on the ground for the Greater Israel Project, who supply Israel with 3/4’s of their oil.

Israel is also threatening people in regard to the genocide case in the ICJ and also bombed the Belgian development agency building in northern Gaza because Belgium insisted on maintaining aid to UNRWA.

Hind Rajab: Israel Kills Medics Trying to Save Dying 6-Year-Old Girl in Gaza

Hind’s family was fleeing to the south. Hind Rajab, the 6-year-old Palestinian girl in Gaza whose case reverberated around the world when audio of her pleading for emergency workers to save her was published online. Her body was found two weeks later alongside those of her aunt, uncle and three cousins. The bodies of two Palestine Red Crescent paramedics, also missing since they had been dispatched to rescue her, were located in their ambulance just yards away. All had been killed by Israeli fire. “She was killed alone and scared, and our rescue teams were only meters away from her,” said Palestine Red Crescent Society spokesperson Nebal Farsakh, who adds that more than a dozen PRCS aid workers have been intentionally targeted during Israel’s assault on Gaza. Farsakh also discusses the kidnapping and assault of healthcare workers by Israeli forces laying siege upon Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis.

 

Bisan, a young social media influencer necessarily turned war journalist from Gaza, said 8-10 trucks finally made it into Northern Gaza, but my friend on the ground yesterday said there is no flour, so maybe these trucks didn’t make it all the way.

They are literally eating grass and have no water! When there is any food, it is extremely expensive. My friend had two of her relatives killed by sniper fire when they attempted to get flour in the south.

The death toll in Gaza is over 30,000 with an estimated 10,000 people still missing; probably under the rubble of their homes. Over 2/3 of these deaths are innocent women and children and 13,000 are children. We have over 70,000 injured and thousands of amputees, many who underwent their amputations without antithetic as Israel will not let it into Gaza along with antibiotics. Women having caesarean sections also have no antithetic. The situation is brutal and ongoing. The US again vetoed another ceasefire 2 days ago for Israel!
